One game (if they are both on meds) Percy and Marky will make us think it was a good idea but hard to imagine this working long term, take a chance on a second round RB and I would rather watch Revis and Cro play for 1 year then have Harvin for 3-6 games |

![]() And my own view on Harvin - pass. Haven't we already got a highly paid WR who everyone soured on for being self-centred? Isn't Harvin wanting out of Minny for exactly the same reasons? I'd give it 6 games until the "cut this bum" threads started. If we want WR's - which I think we do - draft them and develop them ourselves, alongside a new QB. Now is not the time to make a splash and commit lots of money to someone else's problem. |

There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno
Smith.

Just what we need!
An undersized WR that costs $7 million per year who can't remain healthy and who would best fit in the slot, the one WR position the fan base should feel comfortable with (Jeremy Kerley)! Pass. |

Not to mention santonio 2.0, maybe more athletic. He got suspended two games in highschool for telling a ref he would kill his family

Hell will freeze over before our fanbase realizes that our new GM will be building through the draft. The days of making stupid free agent splashes are gone, and that's the way it should be. |

I love how everyone always says that we should build through the draft, then instantly turn around and want to throw draft picks around all willy nilly for injury prone players looking for big money deals.

There are some fans who simply see the "name" and ignore the all the other issues surrounding a player.

Last year when this came up I was for it, this year not so much.
Build through the draft and sign depth not stars or so called stars. Let's win the post-season and not the pre-season for once |

Yea, perfect. So Sanchez would be throwing to Percy "I have a migraine headache"Harvin and Santonio "wait till you see the headaches I give" Holmes.
One is bad enough. If we can dump Holmes, I am all in. If not, FUGETABOUTIT |

Exactly. I'm just amazed that SOJ pretend-GM's keep doing the same thing that got Tanny canned. Go after high-priced guys for a splash and hang a noose around the team's cap for years to come. It's just idiotic.

It's not even comparable.
Harvin is still playing on his rookie deal making a little over $2 million a year. Revis is already the highest paid DB in the game but wants a contract on par with the best QB's in the league. |

Do you reckon it'll stop once he gets his big deal? I don't. Once guys get focussed on the $$$ and get a big deal by holding out, they'll usually do it again (see Revis, Darelle).
