I deleted it Superbowl Sunday Night and have absolutely no recollection of doing it. I had a few cocktails so all I can come up with is that perhaps I was MWI (Modding While Impaired )and trying to delete another thread and checked yours by accident.

In any event, it was an honest error and it wasn't done intentionally.

Again, best of luck with your illness and we will all be praying for you.
I just watched "FLIGHT" and I must say, if I learned anything, it's that you should admit your mistake and go to jail. This makes everyone happy.

Especially your son...still trying to understand why...powerful story.

Congratulations on coming forward.

I'm back, *****es!!!! Surgery went very well according to the doc. I came home the same night, and today I am feeling surprisingly good. My voice seems to be unaffected, more or less. However, I have already noticed that my body temperature is lower than normal (expected) and for the time being I have to take calcium for the next two weeks in case my parathyroids are out of whack.

Couldn't get any pics of the surgery, but here is a before and after:

Glad to hear you're well, JW. I hope your recovery goes nice and smooth.

How long before you can have some medicinal single malt?

Ok so surprisingly enough, I became a little emotional looking at your pictures. I'm really glad everything went well best of luck to you and your family with the healing and chemo process( if you have to undergo some).

Glad things went well JW. I hope they gave you an appropriate amount of euphoria-inducing pain meds at least.

Jetworks, really glad it all went smoothly and as planned. You are one of the good folks here on JI and no doubt in the "real world" as well. I'm sending all the positive vibes (a heathen like me can't use the word prayers) I can muster for a complete recovery and a long, cancer free, life.

Awww, thanks Gata. We are doing great with the whole thing. I don't anticipate needing chemo, but there may be a need for radiation. We have to wait on pathology to determine what the other nodules they found last Friday were, along with what the lymph nodes looked like. Then we have to monitor a bunch of different blood things to determine if they more or less got it all. It's a looooong process.

Nah, just mild stuff. Honestly, I'm not feeling too much pain, more discomfort.

Thank you friend Brogo. Unfortunately I will never be truly free of this type of cancer, but I do have a good chance of living my life mostly unaffected from here on in if it was caught as early as we think. Like I said, lots of stuff up in the air right now.
