OT: My senior year in college I saw Joni Mitchell perform at Tanglewood with Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius, Don Alias, Lyle Mays, and others on her jazzy Shadows and Light Tour. Incredible.

of course... Jaco was one of my hero's when I was in music school. Never saw him play but had 2 albums back in the day.
