The best is...Carnival wants to give the victims....another cruise...as compensation.

Lol

Btw, did one cruise on Royal Caribbean, kinda ok...but was on alert the whole time for Norovirus, was obsessed with the living conditions of the crew living in the bowels of this ship (they must hate us fat americans...they arent washing their hands!) and had a near panic attack when I thought I saw vomit on the stairs. 2000 dollar liquor bill... wife thinks Im a joy to travel with.

Anyhoo, no more cruises since...and NEVER AGAIN.

Isn't there a taxi story too involved with that cruise?

Got kidnapped with the Mrs by a rabid taxi driver who wanted to extort you?

Someone on the ship did a reddit AmA and said it wasn't nearly as bad as the media is hyping it. http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comment...k_me_anything/

Carnival seems to have an unusually large list of mishaps. I found the following list at: http://www.cruiseshipfires.com/index.html .

Carnival Celebration Fire- 1995
Carnival Ecstasy Fire- 1998
Carnival Tropicale Fire- 1999
Carnival Celebration Fire- 2000
Carnival Triumph Bomb- 2001
Carnival Spirit Explosion- 2007
Carnival Sensation Bomb- 2007
Carnival Freedom Fire- 2007
Carnival Ecstasy Fire- 2009
Carnival Imagination Fire 2010
Carnival Freedom Fire- 2010
Carnival Sensation Bomb- 2010
Carnival Fascination Bomb- 2010
Carnival Splendor Fire- 10/2010
Carnival Splendor Fire- 11/2010
Carnival Elation Bomb- 2011
Carnival Imagination Bomb 2011
Carnival Triumph Fire- 2/2013

Notice many ships are repeat offenders. Also, I am not surprised at all the bomb threats considering how many disgruntled former passengers there must be.

Additionally, a yahoo search of "carnival cruise accidents" returned countless links to every type of imaginable accident. I never realized there are so many accidents, but no doubt they are hushed up as much as possible. All I know, is I will stay away from Carnival. They seem to have little regard for their passengers.

Cruise ships are not regulated at all. US laws don't pertain to them and the employees are treated like dirt.

Bon Voyage!!

What a disaster!

It was supposed to be an enjoyable, entertaining ride for thousands of people. Tons of smiling faces and memories. They were promised a great time.

Then, as quickly as it gets started, it's a total mess. Disgruntled customers and a sh!tty ride to nowhere!

I'm talking of course about the 2012 Jets season and the unkept promises made to Jets fans.

Just leave your steaming bags of crap at the Pepsi gate.
