It is kind of a misleading stat. As is the #2 Pass D rank.

Why? Because teams ran the ball all over us. And we were playing from behind most of the time.

I know that. But even with those conditions, it's still impressive. There were worse rushing defenses than ours and they still gave up 100 yd receivers.

Besides, as everybody has been saying, this is a passing league. Most teams choose to pass before they choose to run.
