Could the Jets attempt to make draft history?

Now this is a longshot but....

What if Lauren Silberman turns out to be pretty good at her tryout at the New Jersey combine?

Drafting the first female player in the NFL would bring headlines and publicity.

In the seventh round?

I'm not saying I would do it or like it, but the Jets have been known to make crazy decisions.

I actually thought Mangold's sister would be the 1st. She could play G better then Vlad.

Is this the girl from MIT?

I heard an interview of hers. Sounds like she is doing it for publicity. She has a product or service she is working on and wants to get involved with the NFL.

If she is doing this for publicity, than forget it.

It just crossed my mind that this would be a "Woody" move.

Slow news day? She will not be drafted. Lucky if she gets a tryout.

Forget it ,Woody would have to build seperate locker rooms & book her, her own room for road games ,it would cost Woody to much cash, but he would love the PR from it

Woody may draft her with his last pick, for the PR , Then give her a job on the Flight Crew after she didn`t make the team.

Not gonna happen... Too physical of a game for a woman (even if just a kicker). What happens to the first player that lays her out on a kickoff return? Can she tackle a 200 lb pro athlete? Not to be sexist, but it ain't gonna happen. The NFL protects too many positions as it is.
