Most of these guys aren't even going within the first 2-3 rounds.

There's not even an OG listed, which is a bigger need than C or LT.

I don't draft OGs or RT. I take OC who can play the OG position and LTs who are strong run blockers to play RT. It's kind of why i have no problem with the development of Austin Howard.

If you match up the Jets needs with where they pick in each round, based on my list who would u take in each round . Understand that some of the players listed will probably not be around in certain rounds. This is my list, and it may vary from the list you may have.

The Jet needs as I see it.

QB
OLB
OG
RB(Feature)
S
OT
TE

That's quite a position to take. Seeing how none of those positions are slam-dunks for interchangeability, I can now understand the bulk of your posts here on the Strip. Seriously, playing C doesn't automatically mean you can play OG. There are 3-4 centers and 4-3 centers, just like there are 3-4 OGs and 4-3 OGs. I'll give you a bit more leeway on the OT spot, but your assessment is largely football ignorant, sorry.

Love Moore in the 1st, but prefer Ziggy. From my list, how would u complete your Jet 7 round draft.

Forgive my ignorance please..

I think everyone is confused because your subject says "at pick 9". Pick 9 is the 1st round, pick 9. That's a single pick.

I think you meant to say "at pick 9 in each round" - though we don't actually have the 9th pick in each round...

Frederick is a 3-4 C that would not excel as a ZBS OG. Jones is just the opposite, a 4-3 C that could excel as a ZBS OG.

Upon re-reading, I'm sorry, didn't mean for my post to come across as harsh as it did.

And yet u somehow managed to figure out what i meant. You of course are right to correct me by saying the jets don't have the 9th pick in the rounds following the 1st, but by thinking outside the box, u got the general idea.

There's no QB worthy of the 9th pick in the 1st, and since we already have a LT, that leaves the Pass rusher as the top need on this team at a premium position.

At 9, the choice may come down to Moore or Ansah.

I pick Ansah because i think he has the bigger upside. I do love Moore and could live with him.

In the 2nd round, on my list i again go through the rotation and i have a hard time passing on Tyler Bray.

In the 3rd : Chris Faulk. LT/RT/OG

In the 4th : Knile Davis : RB

In the 5th : Chris Harper : WR

In the 6th : Mike Williams : TE

In the 7th : Sean Renfree : QB

I come away with 5 potential starters a solid backup at QB and at WR .

Thanks, appreciate that.
By the way, Tony thinks Barrett is a risk at OG while a few others think Ferderick is too slow play OG. I like both Players at OG and either could replace Mangold in case of injury.

That's how i run a draft. If i can't use u somewhere else in a pinch, you better be a world beater where u play.
