This Day in Music
Fancy a daily music happening?
How about this, an amazing day's work. 22nd Feb 1967, The Beatles were working at Abbey Road, London, recording the giant piano chord for the end of 'A Day In The Life' for their Sgt. Pepper's album. See Paul talking about it here: http://www.thisdayinmusic.com/pages/sgt_pepper |

One was quoted as saying we then heard Sgt peppers and felt like losers. The Beatles were just incredible creators of music. |

24th Feb 1975, Led Zeppelin released their sixth album Physical Graffiti in the UK. Recording sessions had been disrupted when bassist and keyboard player John Paul Jones had proposed quitting the band, supposedly to become choirmaster at Winchester Cathedral, England, although in reality he just needed time to rest after Zeppelin's demanding tour schedule. http://www.thisdayinmusic.com/pages/physical_graffiti
