Tinstar's top 10

Chiefs : Eric Fisher
This team has a Running game a bunch of probowlers but can't protect it's QB. The biggest need is QB, but since none exist worthy of this pick, the next best thing is a LT who can protect the QB and continue the solid effort in run blocking that Fisher offers over Joeckel.

Jags : Sharrif Floyd
Teams need defensive front 7 help and this cat is the best available prospect .

Raiders : Bjoern Werner
Raiders devastated with the jags picking Floyd and takes the Seminole DE. I don't really like this pick. Maybe Jordan goes here.

Eagles : Luke Joeckel
The OL almost got Mike Vic killed last season. This LT is too good to pass on.

Lions : Dee Milliner
Kid couldn't catch a cold in a flu outbreak, but he doesn't let many receivers catch the football either.

Browns : Chance Warmack
There best player is a RB so the team builds a wall in front of him just like he had at Bama.

Cards : Matt Barkley
Best fit for Bruce Ariens.

Bills : Geno Smith
Teams needs a QB. This team just might be stupid enough to take the WR, but i think the need for a QB trumps the urge.

Jets : Zeke Ansah
When you can't stop the run around the edge or get to the QB without scheming, you take a player who has all the trademarks of your best OLB but a greater ability to get to the QB.

Titans : Kenny Vacarro
Titans need safeties more than any other position on the team.

i think the tackles will be reversed and the browns will take ansah. the jets won't take warmack, my prediction. they may take vacarro if they let landry go and don't bring in another safety. i'm guessing the cards take smith, and the bills take patterson.

Mayock's assessment, Werner is a poor man's Chris Long...last first, mid second...interesting!

Mayock just said Werner projects as a late 1 early 2.

How would a bruce arians vertical based team take Barkley at #7, that makes no sense.

I don't see it Tinstar.

Werner is going to slide on draft day, the browns are not taking Warmack (They're minus 2-3 players for the defensive scheme) and I believe Barkley's gonna clausen his way into the 2nd.

I don't like him either, but i think the Raiders want the DT, and if the Jags take him the Raiders will panic and take the best DE out there. Today, that's this cat. If Star doesn't get Red flagged, the Jags may take him and push Werner out of the top 15.

I like Barkley more than Leinart to be honest. Think he has the mental side of everything down better. But still don't think he'll be good due to the arm strength issue... The shoulder injury won't help that either.

Also don't see Werner as a top 10 pick. Never understood why that was even talked about.

If Jarvis Jones is available at nine and we pass we will regret it for years.

If the Jets drafted Werner @ #9, It might be the straw that broke this camel's back.

If the Cards took Barkley over Smith, that would be on par with the Raiders taking Hayward-Bey over Crabtree, Nicks, Maclin, etc. It's too insane of a move, no matter what the rumors are about them liking Barkley. Taking Fisher #1 is laughable also. What person on the planet possibly thinks he is the best player available to draft? How much have Joe Thomas and Jake Long turned around their franchises? It's an atrocious pick, sorry.

When there's no QB and no concensus stand out defensive stud available to be taken with the 1st pick, the next best thing is to pick the best player at a position of need that protects the blind side of your most valuable asset who can also run block . The Joker is an excellent pass blocker, but he's not your best run blocker. Fisher has that ability more so than The Joker and that's why i put him ahead.

It will come down to who the Chiefs like the best but one of the LTs is going to be the 1st overall pick and the next one is going to be taken at the spot currently occupied by the Eagles.

Why do you see Barkley at 7 and before Smith. I can see them easily trading back into the first if they want Barkley. I can't see them passing on Fisher. Plus Ariens runs a very vertical game and Barkley has never been noted for arm strength and now with the shoulder injury it is even more in question.

It's all about the Fit. The arm strength of Barkley is greatly improved in the Zona heat. His mechanics are miuch better than Smith and his experience already in a pro scheme gives their new HC a head start in developing his scheme and his QB.

Barkley has everything Bruce Ariens will love in a QB and playing in Arizona will be just like playing at USC. Drier heat, but same beautiful conditions.

Barkley will excel in Arizona. The kid is a gym rat and loves the game.
