GENO Smith is a STUD.

He will be a top player inthis league. He has everything you could want in a QB. Accuracy, not turnover prone, strong arm, touch, speed, ect...

You guys are crazy if you think that the Jets getting Geno is a bad move. Its laughable to read this board actually.

most posters here want a fcking Guard in the 1st round. LOL

Relax Grandmama Smith. Geno AS THE FIRST OVERALL PICK is absurd, thats my point.

How many complete games have you watched Geno Smith play? Or have you just watched ESPN highlight reels?

There is a reason why the vast majority of analysts/scouts do not have him as a top 5 pick in the draft. He is not elite QB material.

He'll probably end up being a middle-of-the-road NFL QB.

The Jets would be absolutely foolish to trade up for him.

No doubt, Smith runs hot and cold. He will complete a beautiful pass, then put the ball two rows into the stands. Really a second round talent.

71% 42TD's 6 INT's

I'd hate to see how good this guy is when he is "hot"

Early in the season Smith was the Heisman favorite...was he even invited to the ceremony? His stock cannonballed 1/2 way through the season. The EXPERTS apparently saw something missing.

Yeah he played rougher compettion. Plus in the NFL he won't get the same number of possessions like he did at WVU, where defense was one and done. A lot of his stats were snowballed by the 70-63 "basketball" games.

Jets would be stupid to draft up #1 to get smith, he can probably be had at #9
Bingo!

I don't want him at 9, let alone at # 1.
