Suggs needs to look no further than this HoF teammates to find some people who don't hate the Pats. Ed Reed has openly admitted his respect for the organization and his mancrush on Belichick. Ray Lewis (and even Revis) openly gushed about Brady and their respect for him when the presented him for the NFL Top 100. Their opinions carry a hell of a lot more weight than Bug Eyes'.

I respect what the Pats have done in the post-cheating era - even though they have failed to accomplish what they did during the cheating era.

I also hate them. Those two emotions are not mutually exclusive.

What you're experiencing is people confusing the Patriots as a team and its personality with the personality of its fan base. Many would agree that Pats fans are as a group the most obnoxious and arrogant collection of individuals in all of pro sports. They include tons of bandwagonners no nothings who act as though they are the s*it, when in reality they are uninformed front runners. I agree 100%, in the last 10 years a lot of patriot fans have morphed into a amalgamation of Cowboy, Raider and Yankee fans.

No it was not the posters as much as Rex and some of the jets themselves acting like they won something in losing a championship game. Some jet fans were totally in the corner that the 16-0 regular season and winning the division didn't prove anything for the pats but losing 2 AFCCG were something to be proud of. Going to and losing the game is not nothing to be proud of, winning the game and getting the Lamar Hunt Trophy for being the AFC champion is something to be proud of. Those 7 trophies look nice next to the 3 Lombardi's.

Most patriot fans here took issue when jet fans propped up sanchez by saying he went to 2 AFCCG as if that gave him some cache.

You weren't posting here back in 2002 where some jet fans had eastern division champions under their avatars. Now that was funny.
