Biggest knock on Garrard is he can't take a hit, and behind this line he'll be in for 3 plays and out for the season. If the Jets can bring in Jason Campbell for like $2 million they can have a real QB competition this summer. Oakland should have stuck with Campbell rather than the whole Carson Palmer deal. Plus I think Campbell would come here because he has a real chance to be a starter, which he doesn't have in Chicago behind Cutler.

It pretty much sums up their low football IQ. |

1: and? We're a team with a bad set of QBs and most likely won't draft one until 2014, so a stopgap is just what we need. It's at least a good way to not have to watch Failchez throw to wide open defenders.

Let's just roll with Garrard/Sanchez/Quinn/Whoever in 2013 and wait patiently until 2014 rolls around. |

Serious question .... Are you more likely to gain a true franchise QB with a top 5 pick or a 15+ pick ? ... |

I don't think this team will be bad enough to get a top 5 pick next year. Bring in Garrard or Campbell to compete with Sanchez. If Sanchez wins the job lets see what he does with a real OC that has a history of developing average QB's. if he sucks again then we can cut him next year. I would rather draft a QB than trade for an unknown like Flynn. This team is going to get younger and faster under Idzik. He wants to build through the draft and not FA. I don't expect much, but neither did I in '09. I'm not a fan of tanking any season plus Ryan won't do it. Plus Luck or RGIII is not there in '14.

There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno
Smith.

As for San Diego, it was his first NFL start. Unless you're a wonder kid like Luck, you're going to struggle. Give me a break. What has Sensitive Six or Quinn shown you in the last two years? I'd ask what Garrard has shown you, but the only thing he's shown you is his ass on a couch watching the NFL. If McElroy is garbage, fine. Sensitive Six and Quinn are extra hot garbage. |

If you think all Sanchez did was hand the ball off during his first two years and his 4 playoff wins, then you are beyond ignorant. |

Calm down, Raymond. He's just joking, ok? He's not seriously trying to talk bad about your buttchez.

Screen's are put in by OC's to negate a potent pass rush. Since the Jets were a G&P team and didn't open up the field , the screen wasn't an effective play because you had 8-9 players stacked at the LOS not rushing upfield in an all out blitz type scenario. When they tried to run screens our O was outnumbered not vice versa. Again Sanchez has had trouble getting throws over Dlinemen and its happened on some screen plays, but to say its his fault screens don't work because he's not selling it is ludicrous. Its like saying its a RB's fault he can't make a defender miss when there's 8-9 guys stacked on the line. Its the f'in system they tried to run that's the root cause. |

If you want to say that Rex's offense has been the worst prooductive for QB's over the past two years -I'll agree 100%. |

Here's hoping that GS3 under center, and Coples on
the edge works out.
