For all of his faults, and he does have a few, he's still a guy I would love to put up against BB. And that is pretty much why I want him around. Rex can go toe to toe with BB any old day of the week, he's proven that in the past. I believe winning the AFC East means being able to outcoach BB. Rex has already done that in the past and I think he can do it more often with more talent on the team.
Just so you know, Wrecks has a losing record against BB and the Pats.

Tee hee.

He did, and BB adjusted to his schemes and personnel, and Rex is 0-4 vs BB since. He's a genius who doesn't kiss rings!

Memo: earn your own rings and you can kiss them yourself, you don't even have to post videos of it on alternative lifestyle websites to satisfy your fetishes

So far so good.

But ultimately his success or failure will be determined by his drafts. We got an important one this year. Can't afford to miss on the high picks. Need starters.

I'm curious to see what he does in rounds 2-6

Really? All picks matter especially 2 to 6. Thanks for the insight.

Seriously though, it annoys me to death how so many people believe picks 4 to 7 are more speculative than skill. I of course see the high risk but we have treated these picks poorly since 2009.

What's BB's record as coach without Cynthia at QB?

No opinion on him so far but would really like for him to cut Tebow, extend Revis, and devote this draft towards offense.

Since 2009;

2009 Slauson 6th round
2010 McKnight 4th, Connor 5th
2011 Powell 4th, Kerley 5th, McElroy 7th, Scotty McKnight 7th
2012 Bush 5th, Ganaway 6th, Griffin 6th, Allen 7th, White 7th

That's a total of 12 picks, with only Scotty McKnight, Ganaway and Grffin not working out

Not a bad group 9 of 12 picks fro the later rounds panning out

Really.... Yeah you are right Conner is a stud.

But in general better than I thought in that context. It's trying away the picks like in 2009 and 2010 that is also not what SB tams do.

John Idzik looks like a goofy cowpoke completely out of his element.

If you like his "approach" of saying nothing, well, it matches what he's accomplished so far.

Without those trades, the Jets aren't knocking on the door in 09-10

The Jets had a small window to win, and went for it...I have no problem with that strategy whatsoever.

Now had the QB panned out, we'd still be winning. But, we know how that went

For the blind homers panning out means being on the roster or practice squad for a season.

No, it's because you get all your football information from Lupica, and Stephen A Hole.

So does everyone else. What's your point? We beat you in the playoffs, and have a better record against you than almost any other team with much less talent. What teams have beaten you with a worse QB, and/or a worse pass rush? Any? Ever?

Idzik is getting very good reviews in this thread. Not one credible poster has said anything negative.
