The animosity between the fans and media towards said person. Combine that with being in New York City and you've got the makings of a bloodbath 9Not literally of course)

Rex Ryan had massive say and pull in the Tanny era and is a good deal responsible for the ills of the curret team. We can only hope to god that he is not just 'not in charge' but that he has had his ass kicked out of all player eval meetings and is told to coach the players he is given.

Of course Rex is not in charge. If Rex were in charge we would have won 4 Super Bowls.

Mike T a football man? lol Mike T SUCKS, he is the reason the Jets are in the situation they're in and I know you're of the mindset because you hate Rex so by default Mike T is your guy lol.

No Rex is not in charge of football operations. He's not the GM. He's not the owner. He's the head coach. What is so hard to understand about this? And why do people expect Rex to have full decision making authority on these types of things?

It is very ironic that Revis so far has done all the talking and yapping while the Jets have stayed stone cold silent. Another sign that Rex does not have that much power.
