anyone watch this show? I know its based off a series of books, so without any spoilers what does everyone think? Best show on tv IMO right ahead of Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire.

Season 3 trailer has me PUMPED.

I actually read the first book after season 1 and am currently reading the second. Id prefer watching it unfold visually than follow up by reading it with more detail.

If I did it the other way im worried i might not value the tv series as much.

HBO skanks it up too much....coulda done w/o the ghey King and Knight of Flowers.

More nekked Khaleesi would have been better.

Joffrey cast perfectly. HBOs version is entirely hate-able.

Khaleesi in real life(dont know the actresses name and too lazy to google) is dating Seth Macfarlane. Lucky SOB.

Random Fact #2:

in-between season 1 and 2 Peter Dinklage before selling his house regularly shopped at the Lowes i work for in the Hudson Valley.

He was paying his credit card bill and i really wanted to say "so its true, Lannisters do always pay their debts!" but held back.

I settled for congratulating him on his awards and helped load something in his car.

cheap douche gave no donations!

I knew this show was going to be good when in the first episode we got a nude scene. HBO knows how to sell their product

Not a fan. Lord of the Rings with boobs. Spartacus kicks the sh*t out of this show (at least the first two seasons did).

HBO has jumped the shark since Wire and Sopranos both went off the air in 2007-2008. Boardwalk Empire is ok not great. Lots of mediocre overhyped high concept dramas like this and Big Love. That little fat girl from Girls is disgusting.

Boardwalk is underrated IMO. Yeah the slow pace of it turns a lot of people off, but if that doesnt bother you its really a well made show.

Give me great acting and writing over non stop action and gore 10 times out of 10.
