I wouldn't mind a coaching change right now but the biggest problem is their defensemen, or better said, lack of NHL talent at the position.

Grabner is starting to really put it together which is nice to see. Moulson has been too quiet. Bailey and Okposo still MIA...

Bailey and Okposo are not living up to expectations at all.

And the pattern continues.... Win 2, lose 2, win 2, lose 2..... One more to lose. Whens the next game, tomorrow at 1? Chalk it up to an L. Last of this 7 game home stand, yes? Then on the road, for a W.

I admire the Isles they play hard every night, have a ton of talent up front, just lacking defensively below the hashes...Nabby played well but they will need to address the goalie position long term...

They only play hard for 40 minutes. Then play not to lose the last 20.

You know, the Jets seem to do this, too. WTF? I hate the Pats, but gotta admire them - they play the full 60 every game, wether they're winning 3-0 or 30-0. Never a quit in the 4th quarter.

The Isles probably have 2 defensemen right now that can be viewed as long term - Hamonic and McDonald. Everyone else is either over the hill or a fringe player who wouldn't make most other rosters.

They have some talent coming up but that may be a couple of years away and who knows if they will develop. Hopefully Griffin Reinhart makes a quick leap to the NHL and is on the blue line for the next 10+ years. He's a big, strong kid and will nly get stronger.

Every time I see Joe Finley on the ice, I get angry. I've never seen a guy as big as him be so weak on the puck. Stu Bickel would have wrecked him if they were allowed to go.

Helluva way to rebound from Thursday night. Nice to see Tavares back in the scoring column again.

Nabokov is going to collapse though if he continues to play this many games though.

Nice to see them take a lead late and then close it out. Would love to get a point versus Pitt on Sunday night.

DVR'd the game, but saw the final score before watching. Going in to the third 2-1, then Washington ties it at 2-2, I would have bet money they would blow it.

Nice win, though. Hopefully they can keep it up tonight.

Nabby has been playing very well. Ride his old bones until the first soft goal.

^^ that's what I fear. He was looking old and tired 10 games ago. I think he may be the sort of player who plays better when those in front of him play better, and plays poorly when everyone else plays poorly. He's not the type to lift his team up on his shoulders.

I hope he's sharp tonight.

Welp, I'd rather see them take the first period off instead of the third.

Big mistake starting Nabby. He can't handle back to backs.

Still in. He must be like Sanchez. Won't get pulled no matter how much he sucks.

In all honesty, the pens could score on a brick wall right now. It's their goaltending that's shaky.
