Thumbs up

I like my music "heavy" and this is what I'm getting into right now

The band is called Testament and the tune is called 'Rise Up"

I respect Testament for logging in 20+ years now, but they've lost that fresh edge to their music. Napalm Death is going 30 years now, but their sh*t still feels fresh and full of piss and vinegar.

...and 2FOOLISH - c'mon brother! hit me something man! Give me something fun, new and genuine. Foxygen, Cayucas, Indians... sh*t's interchangeable. Wake me up when the Festival of snores is over!! .. lol.

I'm just teasing ya. Chelsea Light moving was a good find. but the others... I'm not saying they're all bad, but that sound, the brooklyn production, the morose vocalist, the "I'm in touch with my 60s roots while still paying homage to the pixies sound" is killing me. You said things were different at the start of the thread... back when people made fun of me for putting on Unknown Mortal Orchestra.. but at least they did it right!

Dont really like Gossamer, but "Carried Away" is tight for sure outside of the "Wake up in the morning, wake up in the evening" part... it sounds like the old pizza bagels commercial..."Pizza in the morning, pizza in the evening, pizza at supertime, when pizzas on a bagel, you can eat pizza anytime"
