I'm trying to figure out what exactly Rex said that was stupid. We would have a good defense next year? We're not trying to trade Revis? Is he supposed to say our defense sucks and we're desperate to get rid of Revis? That would be a phenomenal negotiating tactic.

![]() I love the confidence Rex Ryan shows in his team. I love how he takes the pressure off of the players shoulders. He doesn't mind shouldering the pressure. The players greatly respect that. It creates a GREAT team environment. Players want to have the confidence of their HC. It gives them a certain swagger. Therefore, they love and respect their HC. As does Rex Ryan in return. Rex Ryan also has honor. Even when he knew Mark Sanchez was hot garbage, he NEVER threw the guy under the bus. Even though it was frustrating for us as Jets fans, here we are thinking they MUST bench him, yet it was what was best for the team. Rex Ryan KNEW that, believe it or not, Mark Sanchez was the best QB on the Jets roster. That's why he always stuck with him even when virtually everyone thought a change was absolutely necessary. Even other players on the team, even though they don't care about Sanchez's fate at this point, looked at that situation from the outside and thought even higher of their HC. They saw that he wouldn't criticize Mark Sanchez. They saw that he always treats the players, through thick and thin no less, with DIGNITY. That's why Rex Ryan is back. The players wanted Rex back. They enjoyed playing for him and they always have. If you don't like his mouth? I've got a simple solution for you... DON'T LISTEN How about that? Were you aware that you had that option? Many people do not like pornographic material. So those people choose not to look at it. Same here. If you don't like the way the HC conducts his business, then stay the f*ck out of the teams business. |

Funny thing is, a lot of the crap people gave Rex for saying was being thought by every other coach in organized football "We're going to win", etc. He just said it while others thought it. I didn't think it was a big deal. Now I wish he wouldn't be so free to throw around compliments when they obviously aren't earned or due, kinda like the way Jon Gruden does.

Are you kidding ? How many coaches and players left the Jets this year because they are so loyal to him. ?? GET REAL !!: |
