So it turns out that for almost permanently disabling a guy, he gets a 20 game suspension. I realize the new rules involving clutching and grabbing will hurt his game somewhat, but I believe the NHL should have kept him out for a few more months, if not a lifetime ban.

It was a dirty play, and needs to be severely punished.

I cant believe it either. At the least it should have been a complete season ban.

I don't think he should have been able to set one toe on a sheet of ice til Steve Moore was able to.

This opinion seemed to be the consensus this board had back when the incident happened. Now, I still am upset with the NHL over this. I believe this was very improperly handled.
