There's tons of chicks that like football they're just not as dedicated.

It's hard to get comfortable. Glad to see that you needed six weeks, makes me feel less lame.

That's the exact question I ask at post-op; the ridge flattens out enough, AND it's tucked out of the way, so no problem. I assume they used the medical Crazy Glue to seal the incision; the ridge is just the inner sutures before they melt away in 3 weeks. It will flatten out until it's just the incision.

The heaviness is likely the healing sensation; this will fade in intensity over 1-2 weeks. Get up and act normal (lol) don't lay around the scarring will seem much more noticeable. Go yoga with some soccer moms; just don't lift anything for 6 weeks.

THe general anethesia is going to hampur (YES!) your sense of well-being. You will feel better trust me. I thought I was lost on Old Man Island, and not coming back. Well, I'm bkca!

Stay out of bed and get lots of range of motion exercise in. That's all I got. The first week is nasty from the anethesia

I still have a SLIGHT ridge, but there is definitive altered sensation at the incision site, which isn't unexpected. The bathroom stuff is bad the first week, no question. But I was up and about 24 hours after surgery, ambulating pretty normally within the first week. I avoided driving the first 5 weeks or so as per doc's orders, but staying bed/couch ridden is for the birds.

Glad to help.

The heaviness is really just your skin/wound getting used to the tightness from being sutured together.
