Whose fault is it the Jets are not in New York and will never return? Yep-LIBERALS!!

In 1983 when the Jets lease was up at Shea Stadium, Leon Hess spent 1000's to put plans in front of liberal mayor Ed Koch for improvements he wanted- permanent seats where the bullpens were, better parking facilities, better luxury boxes....in fact the Jets played one home game in the Meadowlands during the 1979 season to tell NYC and their lib politicians they best get their a$s in gear...total cost of the desired improvements? $40-million.

Mayor Koch, who basically negotiated with the Jets through the newspapers, told the Jets "F-off"...and they did, to Jersey.....

After the 1984 season the comptroller of NYC, a man named Harrison Golden, did a study- he came to the conclusion that the city lost close to $30-million in revenues that season alone because the Jets had left....

Fast forward 20 years...we find while mayor Koch has learned from the error of his ways the libs have not....

The Jets again spend 1000's putting plans together in the hopes of bringing the team back to NY....in fact they are willing to put up millions for construction costs....

A project which would've brought thousands of jobs to NYC, millions in tax revenues, the Super Bowl, the Final Four, possibly the Olympics and most importantly bring the Jets back is struck down by whom???

You guessed it....another liberal! Sheldon Silver.....

Once again; liberals- short on ideas and long on rhetoric....
