An addition to my earlier post regarding 1969 College All-Star game: I found online that the Jets did win the game but only by 26-24, I did not remember it was that close. I think they may have gone up early and then gave up some garbage time scores.
My recall was correct in that the Packers lost the 1963 game 20-17. Lombardi went off on his team, that was the only loss for the pros after 1955. The series ended after the 1976 game (Steelers shut out the kids 24-0). |
