Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I never thought I'd see the day....
Worst News Ever personally...id rather the Braves finish dead last in the MLB than see Smoltz go..he's been my favorite player since I was old enough to follow baseball! Sorry to put this in the main forum but its the off season and im sure it will get moved eventually anyway. |

Forget it, boys, it ain't gonna happen. The Braves have a cheap option on him for next year. No reason in the world they would do it.

Hes still good, but that doesnt mean hes in his prime... Baseball players usually are in their prime from age 29-33. So yes he is!~ |

no, it doesn't mean that... Actually usually age 28-32, some are 25, 26 which is what they say. Guys like Pujols, and Im sure wright will be well into his prime by 26. Guys past their prime are: Johnny Damon, Manny Ram, Chipper Jones..... They are all still extremely productive but you have seen them at their peak... Now Washed: Bonds, Randy Johnson. Thats another story. |
