Not to sound like a fruit, but love transcends sports... I can put up with a little Red Sox homerism each season for my lovely bride-to-be. That doesn't mean I don't want the Sox season to end sooner rather than later. And normally I can't stand the Yankees, but they're the lesser of two evils in this instance.

Ohh... for some reason I got the impression you were the bride, haha. sorry.

Yeah I did hear though from more than a handful of people that if you live in the New England area, Red Sox fans are obnoxious enough to make you hate them.

Yankees fans are pretty bad too though.
