Its much easier to pitch when you know your team is going to score you some runs. I always thought that way about the Eagles. Put a dude in an Eagles jersey and he becomes a mean, tough SOB. Put him in a different jersey and he's average and injury prone (Jeremiah Trotter is the perfect example of that). |

I like that we're getting the chance to do this, we have a couple of young guys out there, and if they get enough experience, they might give the mets a very strong rotation in the near future.

Based on potential I think we could very well have Perez as our third starter and Bannister and Maine as our fourth and fifth.
