if the yankees win the WS this year.

will that bring down one of the greatest theories in the history of the game.

"pitching wins in the postseason."

There isnt one guy who scares me on that team.

It was the first time I saw Wang pitch. You could time his windup with a calendar! But man can he bring it!

I like Chien Ming Wang alot. The guy has seriously stepped up for the Yanks this year. You really can't ask for a better groundball pitcher, IMO.

If the Yankees win the World Series this year, my buddy has to wear the Giambi pedophile mustache for a month...if the Mets win, I have to wear big lamb-chop sideburns for a month.

I know, that's totally off topic, but I think it's a nice fair bet for Yankee/Mets fans to emulate.

Mussina and Wang have been terrific all season. And you aren't "scared" of Mo, the greatest postseason closer in the history of baseball?

Not as scared as I once was. By his own standards, he isn't quite as good. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him on the Mets, but he isn't as quite as fromidable as he was in years past. IMHO of course.

if the yankees win the ws this year it will most likely be BECAUSE their pitching pitched like it was supposed to.

That theory is slightly skewed by a $200 million payroll...

pitching doesn't win championships... pitching + hitting + defense that allows you to score more than the other team doese

Exactly... In all honesty, didn't the Angels disprove this "theory" in 2002?
