You want a perfect indicator of how much bullsh*t the Yanks lineup is:

THEY BENCHED GARY SHEFFIELD DURING A PLAYOFF GAME!

Could you imagine any, ANY other team in baseball that could have the "luxury" to do that?

What a crock. "Yeah, we don't need Gary Sheffield tonight."

Exactly. There was no reason for Bill to even start a thread like this unless he is looking for a fight. Crazy, really crazy, I really think the Yanks will come back and if I was a Yankee fan I would approach it this way. They are too good a team to go down like they did today. You have to give kudos to Rogers and at the same time have to wonder if the Yankees were over confident as were most of there fans going into tonights game. I said in a earlier post that baseball can humble a team real quick and each and every team is open to this happening. Go Yanks.
