I think Rex is frozen by anic and a sense of hopelessness. It's nearly impossible to perform worse than Sanchez, why not experiment and give Tebow and/or McElroy a shot? There's nothing to be lost by benching Sanchez. Not like he's ever going to get better.

Thanks for your emphatic response. My point is that there is no reason to think Sanchez will perform any better than what he's demonstrated after 4 years. So you're worried about destroying his confidence? How much worse would be his "confidence destroyed" production? Let me guess, he falls from 30th in QBR to 32nd? While his absolute completion percentage could get worse, he thankfully couldn't fall in ranking because he's at the bottom.

Since you've asked what I think. It is this, Sanchez is not the answer, in fact he is one of the Jets worst skill players. If the Jets want to raise their chances of winning for the rest of this season, they need a change at QB. I'm not a fan of Tebow. He isn't better than Sanchez, though I'm not convinced his production would be any worse. McElroy has shown some ability but who knows if he ready. Maybe they bring someone in. At this point, the change could bring some life back to a team that's about to quit.

Btw the O Line is mediocre, not terrible. They are just not the elite unit they were in '09 & '10.

If the strategy is to focus on next year's draft, then keep Sanchez at the helm.
