Sadly, I had to watch on TV. But my buddy was there and he became well, kinda infamous. He and his twin brother were the ones holding up the sign they created, "Now I Can Die in Peace." Unfortunately for them, they had no idea how famous that would become. They didn't trademark it and shortly thereafter the Nutmeg company parlayed it into millions with hats and tee-shirts and other stuff. I still have a color photo of them holding it up autographed by my friend. I know it probably doesn't mean much to most of you but it's one of my prized possessions. What a night.

True but alas, no one really cares. Boring clutch and grab neutral zone trap hockey is a thing of the past and the Devils won't reach the Finals again until they change their strategy. And what a shame it is that a team has to hold their Stanley Cup celebrations in a friggin PARKING LOT! They don't even have a city to identify with.

I rather have those 3 Championships and have a parking lot celebration than that 1 Championship since 1940 and a Dolan owned franchise.
