Max Starks

So.... why is no-one talking about Max Starks in FA?

If we went RT in FA -- we would almost certainly have an opportunity to grab a starting calbiber LG in either the 2nd or 3rd round in the draft.

We need a starting NT/LG/RT/ROLB/ILB/RCB/FB...

We are in some trouble... especially considering we also need both an upgrade at WR and to appease L.Coles... oh man..

I think he should be on the Jets radar screen:

However, 2 concerns:

1) Coming off a season ending knee injury. However, not considered serious.
2) Starks was not a start at the beginning of the year. I believe that he was beaten out by Willie Colon.

These are very valid concerns, after Adrian Clarke I have a fear of under achieving big guys. On the positive he is young, started playing better, played a little LT and RT. Was handed the RT job early , dissappointed, 4th round Colon beat him out.

I think we should start talking about him. As far as I'm concerned, with Andrews tagged and Gross about to be tagged, he's the best free agent RT available. The only explanation for not targeting him is that there seem to be an abundance of quality RT's in the draft.

The guy's a road-grader, but he can't pass-block to save his life. He'd get Kellen killed, just like Clement has been doing all season. Pass.
