TUBA just doing the Bench.....

Wow...First time Ive seen him without pads.

This guy is wider then Wilfork.....Hes just a gigantic square and it looks like the majority of it is muscle.

I cant think of a better pick in the second round when you consider positional value.

He's definitely my favorite at that 2nd round spot. Maybe i'm completely off base, but if the Jets like him enough, I wouldn't mind trying to trade up into the end of the 1st just to make sure we get him.

Ahtyba Rubin out of Iowa State. Potential 3-4 nose tackle at 6'2 330 or so. Great strength and leverage, relatively unknown up until a couple months ago.

Unless there's some issues the coaches find that we don't yet know about, we have to find a way to get Rubin. Even with our OL needs, this is a deep draft and this team cannot let the opportunity to draft a good starting NT slip away.

He did 35, but I expected that.

What I didnt expect was just how huge he is when you look at him. The guy was put on the earth to play NT.

Did anyone else see him on total access? Ive never seen him play before the all star games, and only seen him with pads on.

That's what i'm afraid of. Obviously #6 isn't the right place to select him, but where is he projected to go now?

All the more reason to trade up...NT is the crux of a 3-4, and adding a competent one might change the entire look of our D.

1-27 San Diego,
1-28 Dallas - an extra pick to burn
1-29 SF - switching to the 3-4 defense
2-1 Miami

any could take him

Unless Miami trades with Dallas we should be fine.

Dallas runs a 1 gap, and has their dlineman signed.
SF needs a WR, or offense bad. Nolans going to lose his job next year, and Tuba is a 2 year investment IMO.
Miami--If they dont take a QB at one, We should be safe. That spot could be T, or QB.

Still, this makes trading down with Dallas more attractive, since 1-28 would be the perfect spot to nab Rubin.

I'll bet Miami takes a QB at 2-1, either Flacco or Henne. Probably Flacco since Parcells loves the huge, big armed guys.
