It had to begin sometime, why not now?
Yeah, it's early. But I contend that pennants are lost in April as well as September. I was a big Willie supporter, but not now. Castillo doesn't hustle and is the worst 2nd spot hitter in the League. Throw Delgado anything offspeed on the thrid base side of the plate, and he'll swing and miss. He is now a mistake hitter exclusively. Smoltz is a very good pitcher, but we made him look great today! I do not like how things are looking.. |

Saw enough of Willie Randolph last season to know he is a terrible Major League manager. Ugh! He can take that no-urgency, always laid back demeanor straight back to the American league. The facts are that he couldn't stimulate his team last September and that his players look flat coming out of the gate this season. Willie sucks.
