So why exactly is Church in the 2 hole and Pagan in the 6?
By the way, if Castillo isn't going to bat 2nd he might as well be batting 9th. |

I would rather Church hit in the 5 hole and move Delgado to 6. I am tired of seeing Wright and Beltran get on only to have a situational lefty get out Delgado. Church seems hang in there vs lefties much better.

This lineup puzzles me. Castillo is an ideal 2 hitter and he's hitting 8th, in favor of Ryan Church who still doesn't hit Lefties very well. But maybe Willie sees something that I don't (Most likely not).

Two interesting theories with the lineup brought up in the game.
- Batting Church second stands to reason that he'll get more Fastballs with Reyes on Base and Wright on deck. - Batting Church second breaks up the Lefties at the bottom of the lineup. Both of them make sense to me, but why today? With the Lefty on the mound? Still doesn't matter cause Church is 1 for 1 so far. |

Pelf control isn't the best today with his FB but surprisingly his slider has been ok. Lots of ground balls, hope he continues to attack the batters, he is so successful when he does that.
Also love the camera angles from SNY. |

Bases loaded after a broken bat blooper to LF and a walk to Thrilledge.
Gotta get a DP from Zimm here. |
