Threads Gone?

Just curious. A couple of threads discussing the Sean Bell verdict were moved to the Politics forum from the main forum, and now, a few hours later....they are gone.

Can anyone advise?

I made an attempt to merge the two threads on the topic. Something I've done....let me see......a few hundred times in my Mod time.

I have no idea what happened, but after performing the Merge, the thread dissapeared, and I cannot locate it anywhere, or in any form.:( I even went back via the back-key to double check that I used the "Merge", not the "Delete" command, and indeed, it was a Merge.

Yet here it is....no threads.

I'm still looking into it. But feel free to start a new thread on the topic. There was no attempt here of censorship of it, just an apparrant user error or board error.

Again, my aplogies to all for this.
