Big series for both teams. 2 good pitching match-ups in the opener and finale. Similar records but the Blue Crew had to get real hot to get there, if they can take 2 of 3 here I'll feel more confident than the 8 game win streak made me feel.

The young kids are hitting, and we'll see if Billingsley takes another good step foward after a downer start to the season.

Pansies.

I'm a Yankee fan, and I'll probably watch this whole game, unless it's not competitive.

and I have to be up at 6:30 tomorrow.

...and Rafael Furcal starts off with a Home Run, while Billingsley looks to be on his game early on. Not a good start.

Furcal has had as good as an opening month as anyone in baseball. Nothing like a contract year to bring out the absolute best in someone....I'm not complaining though.

Perez gets hit by a liner right in the gut. Awesome.

Looks like hes good enough to stay in the game though.

Wonder if he and Boras are beginning to regret not signing a long-term deal last winter.
