Only positive vibes. We are getting reinforcements in Church and hopefully Pedro. Let's pray Maine gets better and Pelfrey and Ollie continue to progress. Johan seems to be settling into a grove. Wright and Beltran are due for big months. Reyes and Delgado have been playing great and the irregulars have been doing a damn good job. We just need to improve this bullpen, our Achilles heel. I may be in the minority but we really need Castillo back. He takes nearly 4.3 pitches per plate appearance and gets on base at 370 clip. He has lost a lot of range but he cant hurt us more then Easley does on defense.

The lineup I want to see.

Reyes
Beltran
Wright
Delgado
Church
Tatis
Easley
Schneider

And please, please just bring up Kunz already.

I love Jerry as our manager. After every game, win or lose he always seems to make me feel comfortable and even with 2 outs, we managed to get the tying runs on base.

Can't wait for Astros series.

The Mets need to and certainly can take advantage of this upcoming stretch of games. The next 12 games will determine the season, IMO. They can go into Philly and Florida in the driver's seat.

1 game @ Washington
4 games @ PIT
3 games vs ATL
4 games vs HOU (redemption?)

2 games @ PHI
3 games @ FLA
