Palin's Speech Was "Shrill"

I was watching CNN last night when Wolf Blitzer was reporting on Harry Reid's response to the speech and discussing Reid's relationship with McCain in the Senate that was referenced in the speech.

When it was reported that Reid's spokesman had called the speech "Shrill", there was a noticable negative reaction from Campbell Brown and the other female on the set.

They were literally taken aback by the use of that word.

I'm sure the Democratic talking points this morning have a big red "X" through the words "shrill" and the like, as they have a very negative connation to a female audience.
