What part of the country is not "pro-America"?
Palin also made a point of mentioning that she loved to visit the "pro-America" areas of the country, of which North Carolina is one. No word on which states she views as unpatriotic.

Except, was North Carolina attacked 7+ years ago? No, but those pro-Americans sure love to bring that up, don't they now? |

Palin's an embarrassment. As Noonan wrote, she doesn't have an ideology, she just "says things." Her 15 minutes on the national stage are over. I suspect, now that Alaskans have gotten a good look at her, her political career in Alaska is finished too.

At least she can be a scapegoat for when McCain loses. It will be no problem blaming the loss on her.

Palin has no clue what professionalism is or how to act in a professional setting. She is the Queen and no one should upset the Queen. Ethics? She doesn't have to follow any ethics.

Hey, ethics queen: Tony Rezko (Obama's first political benefactor) bought land adjacent to the house Obama bought on the very same same day Obama did. Then he sold Obama part of that adjacent lot at an absurdly low cost...and voila! Obama's home instantly appreciated in value, probably in the hundreds of thousands. This while a state senator. Palin went after her troubled brother-in-law for tasering her young nephew. One violated ethics to enrich himself, the other in defense of family. But only one strikes you as unethical. |

Obama's personal relationship with Rezko is bad, no argument, but can you show me where Obama has time and time again bashed Palin as a bad person?
Palin has shown her true colors, she is a clueless hack. Her pretty face has gotten her in way over her head. Palin went after her ex-brother in law after he was already punished and she couldn't even do that right. Why don't you check out who Palin replaced her fired Commish with? He was a great guy, he had to resign for a nice act as well. Obama has the luxury to not have because every single media outlet demonizes her for him. Why? Because she's a threat. Joe the Plumber? What did he do besides ask a pointed question? And what happens? He gets crushed in the media with a scrutiny not even Obama has to face. No one wants to address his "spread the wealth" comments. And I'll say it again, if Palin made a fraction of the idiotic gaffes that Obama's VP candidate has in the last two months, she would have resigned/been booted/assassinated. |

I'd consider those areas not pro-America. |

I think she was referring to any part of the US that is not the stinking cesspool, Wash DC.

pro American as defined by the right: America is perfect, can't get better and is always right. It will be the number one country in the world until Jesus comes down from the sky, which should be any day now.
pro America as defined by the left: America is very good but needs to improve to be what it once was. A real patriot isn't scared to challenge his country or its leaders. |

So Palin lives in a state with a major secessionist party of which her husband was a member and whose convention she addressed. And she wants to talk about parts of the country that aren't pro-America? What a flippin hypocrite.
