It is tough, you have a candidate who...

has no experience
wants to raise your taxes
wants to eliminate your 401k
launched his career from a terrorist's living room
has close ties to a "reverend" who thinks black and white children learn with different sides of their brains
has a wife who has never been proud of the USA until recently
wants to cut and run from the war in Iraq
wants to "spread the wealth" from those hard working and successful to those who don't pay taxes
recycles ideas that have proven unsuccessful in other countries and declares them as change for Americans
as a writer selected to edit the Harvard Law review contibuted not one signed word to that or any other law review (incidently interesting read on his Dreams work here http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/10/who_wrote_dreams_from_my_fathe_1.html )

or you could chose a candidate that doesn't speak well publically or isn't as handsome

Im probably gonna take a video camera into the booth.. to document this election.
Dude, prior to Sunday when you asked about voter registration, you haven't posted in this forum in at least 3 MONTHS! Why the sudden interest and the last minute research on the candidates? This is like studying for the SAT on the day of the exam. I guess this is just the "event du jour" for you this week?

I heard that if he wins, our money will say "In Allah we trust". The cool thing is he's gonna give us all of Ramadan off, so we got that goin' for us, which is nice.

Wow. Well done. Pretty clear when you outline it like that....the choice is simple, I'm voting for the handsome guy because as we learned with Herm Edwards, it's not what you do....it's what you say and how energetic you look. :P

1. I am glad he's participating. I truly am.

2. It's pretty clear that he's late to the party in terms of knowing the candidates and wanting to bring a video camera to the voting booth just makes this seem like voting is the "cool thing" to do this week rather than the democratic priveledge and responsibility that it truly is.

Again, SBIII, I'm glad you're involved....just leave the camera at home and spend some time getting honest, independent information on the candidates before you vote (i.e. directly from their websites or spend an hour listening to some of the recent debates)

no. obama is a liar and his election has a good chance of being extrememly bad for this country. he has zero experience managing anything and has handed out numerous political favros in his quest for the presidency. at best he will be spending 4 years fulfilling his debt at worst he will turn hard left and expose his socialist side with even more massive wealth redistribution than he has indicated. never give a 10 year old an uzi.

on the other hand mccain does bring change in that he is not george bush. he has been a deficit hawk while in the senate and has the governmental experience to get thiongs done. not only that, and maybe most important, is that he does not have as many political favors to fulfill. remember the base of the republican party has pretty much disavowed his presidency. he only has their support now because obama is such a threat. in additon, mccain will be able to counterbalance the projected democratic majority in congress. when the executive and legislative branches are of the same party, bad things happen for the american people. it's that simple.

never forget, hire the vet.
Ive been really Obama for Prez, but now Ive been reading up this and that, and it seems the better choice is McCain.. ughhh.. in the booth tonight it will be a hard choice!

Anyone else confused!
C'mon Sean, Obama is going to raise everyone's taxes. That should be like a foregone conclusion by now. There's no way he's going to make good on any of his campaign promises by not raising everyone's taxes to some degree.
