I think TJ had an improved season last year, and, they WERE talking on WFAN about the Jets using 3 backs
But... This kid looks looks great. Might as well free-up salary. I love that spin move and the feet never stop turning, but, the best thing about Greene is he looks for the endzone on every run, NOT the first down! :steamin: Now we have 2 RB's who look to hit a HR every time they touch the ball - exciting stuff. And, it will allow Sanchez to develop as well. |

I had Shonn Greene ranked as my #2 RB in this years draft, behind Moreno.
This man is the total package...He may not run a 4.35-40 yard dash but the man is fast on the football field, he loves contact, he has great field vision and you can actually see that he has really good field vision by the way he attacks the hole. Not only does he have nice moves but he's really hard to tackle and thats because he ALWAYS moves his legs. Coming into the draft I wanted either... Sanchez/Crabtree/Harvin with our 1st round pick. Gilbert/Greene with our 2nd round pick. And now we just landed this kid with the 1st pick of the 3rd round? I love it. |

I read in another post that he was slow.
From those highlights, he sure doesn't look slow to me. Also, did someone rub him down with crisco??? People just couldn't wrap him up. We haven't had a runner like that in quite a while. |

the 40 kept him ut of round 1. otherwise this is a top 2 back in the draft. 1st team All AA and Doak Walker winner as best back.
And most imporantly, the absolute perfect compliment to leon washington; I mean you could not have better fit. EXCELLENT JOB. |

Does anyone think it's an issue that this "kid" is turning 24 this summer?
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/shonn-greene?id=79563#profiles-tabs:players-analysis Its not a big deal if you're thinking short term.. |

player, his age, inexperience at RB, and a poor combine are why he was not a top 12 pick. He did improve his 40 and reps at his workout to a 4.5 nad 23 reps, respectively. A 4.5 at his weight is actually very good.
