I was actually starting to root against Chicago. That whole Oprah/Obama high and mighty crap was nauseating this week. Especially Oprah. I'd like to break her teeth.

winner announced at 12:30....the silver lining is Denver may get the 2018 winter games now...winter Olympics are ten times better in person than the summer games...

come to think of it no- I was thinking of the '56 in Melbourne....Rio is close to the same time zone as EST- so there wouldn't be too much TV delay....

I've been to the Olympics four times....Chicago would've been a hell hole to hold the Olympics.

I beleive NYC lasted until the second round of voting- and that was even after the stadium had been nixed...
