Kirsten Gillibrand is a strong candidate. I don't see Rudy beating her. She's not from NYC, she was a congresswomen in a Republican district... Rudy can't label her as a liberal from the upper east side.

Yeah, and no one knew who she was when she replaced the Hillster. Personally, I think Rudy blew his chances at higher office in the '08 election (mostly due to horrendous campaign managers), but don't underestimate his star power in NY. Especially if 2010 yields a lot of wins for the R's.

If Rudy ends up winning, Obama, Emmanuel and the others who basically forced Dems like Maloney, Israel and others from not even exploring a primary run are going to have a lot of 'splaining to do.

So he came over and said .. did you vote for me?

I said "absolutely" (and I really did)

Then he gave us his classic line he was known for as Mayor ....

HOW AM I DOING?

It was awesome because that was his catch-phrase, it was like being called a huckleberry by Phil Rizzuto

Anyway, very nice guy in person, very friendly and personable, actually meeting him was not a disappointment
He probably like you too... if you know what I mean

wow..I had never seen that before....a couple of things stand out...

1) Don Criqui announced Irish football in the 70's?? Never knew that...

2) Nice move Rudy threw on the flat-footed fullback; good change of direction on the sack...

3) why don't they show him being carried off the field???
