Cloth and personality: Which one you like or dislike?

For most part I am a casual guy, but when needed I wear my suit and tie. The style I hate the most is the sagging pants, simply dumb!

Style A: The Professional look (suits). Men in suit distinguish themselves and for most part are very confident.

Style B: Casual. We all wear casual cloth, but there are people out there that simply don't get it. Even though everyone is casual, it delivers a message to others.

Should look like:

Should not:

Many of us older (40 and up) guys, would shun even your preferred dress style.

On weekends, I am in jeans, shoes w/o socks and mainly tee shirts (Jets, pace University etc..).

Maybe I'm too old to be in on this, but can someone please explain to me why baseball caps are worn so they come down over the ears and with a dorky straight bill? Oh and leaving the label on as well. What is the influence?

I know that baggy clothes and the boots with open laces comes from how prisoners dress, but I don't get the stupid cap look.

^ is borderline wiggy

Just wear a white or colored t-shirt with jeans. The matching stuff is usually a pfailed effort at trying to look cool. Do you think you'd catch James dean in that get up? The effortless look is the coolest.

To be fair, the dude in the pic is Nicky Haden (Motorbike rider) posing for his sponsor. Though he may actually dress like that, he's doing it for publicity reasons.

Gets my vote. I typically will wear a lax tourney shirt or even a plain white T. I would not even consider wearing that out fit.

If you're getting paid to dress like that, fine.

If you're not, uncool.

Is that a French smiley?

I know it says "beatnik", but what else could a smug, beret wearing, cigarette smoking smiley man be?

Ever meet a young kid ... say between 18 and 27 and they dress like that and think it is koool and wonder why they didn't get the job etc....

It's like Turtle on Entourage, looks kool, but I don't know many businesses that would allow that unless you are making $15 an hour or so.
