Curtis Martin Will Be Our Honorary Captain For The AFC Championship Game
Said On 1050 ESPN today.
He said he was thinking about coming out of retirement - temporarily - and suiting up for the coin toss... Said it's all about Rex, who is the embodiment of the best of Parcells and Herm Edwards. Said he's a Jet - and a Jet only - in his heart. C-Mart suiting up would drive this team bananas. Wonder if the fact that he's a CAPTAIN for the game means he's going to be on the sidelines for the game. Damn, I'd love to see CuMar suit up one last time. One of my favorite Jets of all time easily.

What would be really cool is if Namath suited up.
Maybe at least on the sidelines in a mink jacket. Klecko would also be nice. |

Curtis is the embodiment of what it means to be a team player. What a tribute to Rex!

As much as I like Curtis, why delay the Hall of Fame?
Just be a non-roster honorary captain. |

Namath, Klecko & Curtis, in full uniform, going out as co-captains for the coin toss. Imagine doing this for the Super Bowl? Nice job, Gun. |

Please, God, don't let Curtis touch Shone, lest his tendency to play small in big games rubs off.
