Show just started and Rhodes is a guest.

Stupid Hollywood punk. Who told him to think about life after football? He isn't supposed to think anything except football. Otherwise, he's no Jet.

Disagree Gato. I like Kerry but I don't like this. Plenty of time to focus on life after football, this exposure is somehow setting him up for that? Not now. Not with the biggest game of ur life in 4 days.

He should be studying 3rd down coverage assignments, or calling Tom Zbikowski to see how the Ravens tried to contain Dallas Clark.

The best Jet player Fallon could get was a backup safety who only plays in nickle and dime packages?

Late night booking must be brutal these days...

I'm surprised he's still on the air. That guy sucks. End of discussion.

Who's Jimmy Fallon and why does he have a show with terrible guests who shouldn't be on TV the week before the second biggest game of their life?

seriously, who's Jimmy Fallon?

i'm had my problems with the guy too with his desires to be "hollywood", but this is not really any different than Woody or Scott doing a 10 minutes bit with SNY. takes the same amount of time.

Now I know why Rhodes doesn't hit hard; he doesn't want to mess up his pretty face and end his prolific acting career.

While I would have agreed earlier in the year, I must say the past few weeks he's been putting some big hits on.

I have a theory for this, it's been widely reported that Rhodes was screwing up big time in the system... reverting back to the Mangini defense which is a major reason why he was benched. It appears he was playing very hesitant having given up big plays in critical situations and probably fearing making a mistake or something. Right now it seems like he's just playing football, not worrying about all the other crap, off field agendas included.

I for one don't care about a players extracurricular activities until they affect the play on the field. When that happens I have a problem with that player. Rhodes did use his day off studying film... so maybe he's realized that just because he played well it doesn't mean he can stop studying the game. The greats study constantly. Rhodes I feel has finally learned this. He had to check his ego at the door, but he's learned it.

In my opinion, he's redeemed himself as of late. But I'll reserve my judgment of course to see how he reacts in the offseason.
