Interest in a draft?
After last year's fiasco, is there any interest in organizing a draft of any type (we'll work out what kind later). We'll have our hands full come june with the WC, so it would have to end before.
I'll do the organizing if noone else wants it. Anyone? crickets? ![]() List: Woody Batman Turk Frostlich Deadringer Paulie BlackDeath BigJet Royal Last edited by RaoulDuke; 03-08-2010 at 05:25 AM. |

I'd be in if this happens. I was robbed last time. No one could beat my 2-6-2 lineup.

I'll give it another shot
My team was talented if not a little out of position on the field. |

I'm moving this month so I'm very busy with that but I'd like to participate.
and Frost you know Urlacher is an über athlete with über refs so even his references never get tired. |

As for the draft itself I was thinking of something relatively easy for everyone since people may not have time to research and we’re not Uber-draftniks.
It would be a current player draft. Restrictions would be: - You have to announce before the draft what your formation will be 4-4-2, 4-3-3…etc. - Your team will have to have players from at least 3 different championships. I’m toying with the idea of 4, but that may be stretching it. If everyone had a ton of time on their hands they could research and find guys worth drafting in Germany or elsewhere. But 3 seems doable for everyone. - 11 players + 7 subs (1 of them a GK) + manager - You MAY NOT draft Brian Urlacher As for winning the thing, we'll vote amongst ourselves afterwards ![]() Thoughts? Wait a minute. Didn't you draft Vinnie Jones last go around? If you allow Vinnie, you have to allow B.U., and maybe EBG.
