Nick Mangold laughs at this news.

And as far as the Pats, nice job re-signing players from last year's team. The one that got utterly humiliated at home in the Wild Card round.
I hope Bodden leaves and their defensive backfield is left in shambles.
You hope to accomplish this by having them lose Bodden? They've been piling up secondary talent...Butler, Merriweather, Wheatley, Chung...and they'll probably draft a guy.

Good for them with Wilfork.
Pats should start on getting Mankins signed long term next. Possibly re-signing Bodden at a reasonable price. Get a few holes plugged so they can concentrate on this deep draft coming up. Over 50 players to be rated first round talent means Pats essentially get 3-4 first rounders.
Note to BB: Please DON'T get cute and trade out in day one. Grab BPA
Yeah....need to get that Mankins deal done.

Like anyone gives a ****.

At least they kept that "stellar" core.;)
Damn. Was hoping they'd have a disgruntled NT on their hands.
Who gives a sh$t? He's a two and a half quarter player. After that, ANY decent Center has their way with him. Kris Jenkins always was and always will be miles better. Don't believe me? Check out Jets and colts games...

good signing.... now the Pattycakes have TWO decent players on their "defense" -- Wilfork and Warren and only need to replace the remaining 9 underachieving JAG's in order to be

SCARY GOOD

Fourthded....

Was thinkin this meant he was bent and looking for another contending team in the division and still in the same area of the country geographically almost... perhaps a team that is fresh off a superbowl run and still has many pieces of the puzzle together to make another playoff run...

resign.... re-sign.... I sure was figuring Tanny was on the phone with his agent as we speak....

Fear duly noted

Tell us again about that last Pats vs Jets game in November when Jet fans were ready to wear bags on their heads again.

Rex said it best.

Everyone is 0-0 again.

Go out and win something this coming season and then start thumping your chests.

FA just started and the draft hasn't even begun.

Tougher schedule.

Plenty of unknowns. (Injuries)

Talk to me again next January when the Jets might have actually ACCOMPLISHED something.

ON PAPER-WHEN HEALTHY means squat.

(crap, hope this doesn't get me banned  )

NO

Since when did the Jet's become AFC Champs?

I'll reserve judgement until after FA and the draft on how far, if any, the Pats may have slipped or how far a rookie Jet QB has progressed/regressed in year 2.

That's why they play the games.

True but it would have been a completely moronic move not to resign Wilfork. Him and Warren are the anchors of that defense especially now that Seymour is gone. The Pats would not be able to replace Wilfork.

Let it go. That was years ago.

They got withing 90 seconds of winning the SB and a perfect season without it.

It's actually funny to see fans grasping at straws like that.

Win something and then someone will listen.

Until then
