The rest of the young guys on the ST squad played well today too:

Ike Davis 3 for 5, run, 2b, 2 RBI (6), 2 Ks, .538
Josh Thole 1 for 2, run, K, .333
Kirk Nieuwenhuis 2 for 5, run, 2b, 2 RBI, K, .333
Ruben Tejada 2 for 4, 2 RBI, K, .357

Great News!!! Realisticly, the only way the Mets can make a push this year is to have a few guys have break out type years that we aren't really counting on. Someone on offense and obvioulsy a pitcher or two.

He did put one into the Upper Deck at Old Yankees Stadium in the batting practice for the futures game in 2008, and he was only 19 years old at the time. Does that count?
