Supposedly The Raiders traded The Patriots third round choice they acquired for De derrick Burgess. They still have their own third rounder. So basically it was Burgess for wimbley. A Bigger steal.

Look for Raiders to sign andre Davis- to be their Mlb- short term solution. Will draft a Mlb probably in third round

Also look for Raiders to let Morrison go for a third(possible giants signing)

Raiders Lb corps will be Wlb thomas Howard Mlb on run downs Andre Davis / pass downs Ricky brown Sslb K wimbley/Trevor scott

Trevor Scott and k wimbley will be the pass rushing specialist at De. With R seymour and Tom Kelly at Dt on obvious passing downs.

P.s this signing also give Raiders some 3-4 options. Des Seymour and Tom Kelly with Desmond Bryant NT would be draft choice in second or third

Hopefully the Raiders have a HUGE season and lose the AFC Championship game to the New York Jets in the beautiful new stadium in the Meadowlands so that the Cheating Douchebags end up getting the lousy 29 or 30 pick in 2011 for Richard Seymour.

I won't be encouraged there until they do something with their QB position. If they're not willing to give up on JaMarcus yet, it'll be another long season for them. Would be nice to see them add a WR too, if Al Davis can accept having some competition for DHB's job. :rolleyes:

Raiders don't need another Wr. They need big upgrade on oline and consistant Qb play. Chaz Schilens and louis Murphy should be their starting Wr's. Darren Mcfadden they should make their slot reciever( change of pace back- Right now hes a more dangerous reciever than RB) Thats not even counting on DHB( who can play a vital role but shouldn't be starting over neither of Wrs I mention. Hes at best fourth string right now. Raiders been linked to terrell Owens. That would be a mistake those Kids at Wr need to play alot.

Btw LIke Vince Young showed last year, its too early to write off Jamarcus russell. Hue Jackson Raiders new OC job is to develope jamarcus russell like he did flacco.

Too early to give up on Jamarcus Russell. Like I alluded see Vince Young. (v Young 2008- 2009) Jmo You don't guarantee Jamarcus Russell anything either. You let him compete for starting job and let the best man win the job.

Btw - Gradkowski to me is a journeyman QB and not starting materiaL. Now if Marc Bulger comes free from Rams, than thats someone I would like to push Jamarcus Russell. (not Gradkowski)
