Veteran blocker, wide body, tall RZ target. :)
Which would be all well and good if he wasn't the ONLY TE on your roster. Guy caught a whopping total of TWO touchdowns in the past two years. Nice red zone target. Anyway, isn't that also what you guys also said about Baker last year? How'd that one work out for you? About as well as the last time your team tried to draft a couple top 4 TE's (See: Watson, Ben and Graham, Daniel) :)
Buy a clue.

Pats will draft a top 3 or 4 pass catching TE in April
Have fun trusting that position to a rookie and a guy on his last legs. Very few rookie TE's come right in and are impact players for their teams in year one. I can only think of a couple off the top of my head within the past 10 years or so, and one of them wears the Green & White

So, if I needed to buy a clue it certainly wouldn't be from you. It would be from someone who actually had one in the first place. Thanks for playing though

Lets see.

Graham caught 5 TD's his first 2 seasons with Pats.

Watson caught 7TD's his first 2 seasons. He also caught 49 passes for over 640 yds in his sophmore season.

Keller caught 5 his first 2 seasons with Jets.

Yet Watson and Graham were bad picks ?

(as I've stated before, not everyone can find a Tony Gonzalez.)

I suspect he's gonna do some blocking for the running game and do some pass protecting. Whatever he contibutes catching passes will be gravy.

So an average of 3 TD's a season for each player? Great.

Watson and Graham were not worth the first round picks the Patsies used on each, whatever way you try to spin it. Nice try though.
Crumpler's stats the last four seasons:

Talk about a player in decline! Patsie fans you don't have a leg to stand on if you want to bash the Jets for the LT move.

Nice signing New England
It's a low-end signing that fills a basic need for a blocking veteran TE. Nothing more.

How does this remotely compare to the Jets ditching their #1 RB in their #1 running game, and signing LT as presumably a third option? Time will tell, but I think after the season we'll see this as a fatal move. Same can't be said no matter what Crumpler has left.

Crumpler is older and slower than FauxJet07 and fatter than FF2

Crumpler is is NOT a deep threat. He is slow as molasses and overweight. A mere shadow of himself in his better days with Atlanta.
